Create Your Own Lightening!
Lightening is beautiful, dangerous and mysterious. Show students how they can make a mini version of a lightning bolt! Here are the 5 items you need:
- an aluminum pie tin
- wool sock
- Styrofoam block
- pencil with eraser

Make a Rain Gauge
Students can make their own rain gauges. You'll need:
- A plastic (soft drink) bottle
- Some stones or pebbles
- Tape
- Permanent marker
- Ruler
- Scissors
